Job Description

We are looking for a sales enthusiast to join VORTAL’s Business Network team in a start-up like environment, being accountable for ensuring, and further increasing, new sales, leveraging the different services from the internal portfolio and partners.

The ideal person for this role must have a strong commercial drive and be aware of how companies from different sectors develop their business (from prospection, lead generation, marketing, sales, and customer retention).

Integrated in the Business Network team and side by side with product, marketing, and business accelerator teams you will have the mission to understand the Clients’ needs and to set up, develop and improve the product offering and a pragmatic go to market and sales strategy, ensuring the sales and revenue budgets of this business line.

Responsibilities

Guarantee new business revenues by targeting new clients and increasing the VORTAL Suppliers’ portfolio.
Pursuit new sales and customer success sales funnel KPI’s to anticipate lead generation and sales tactics and trends.
Organize and manage the workflows of commercial activity and corresponding documentation.
Analyze market insights and obtain customer feedback to identify and implement the necessary adjustments to the marketing and sales strategy and to discover product improvements and new angles of revenue.
Implement market creation and animation initiatives, attract potential customers and recommend potential products or services acting as leads generator.

Education & Experience

Up to 3 years in Sales (preferable)
Degree in Management, Marketing, Communication Sciences or equivalent.

Job Description

VORTAL’s global customer support and sales on the Supplier side are led by our Business Network Team, which we are reinforcing. We fulfill our mission by following a customer success approach, divided into market clusters, to manage the full customer journey from onboarding to customer loyalty, with the help of an external partner who focuses on ensuring customer success and satisfaction and increasing the annual recurring revenue.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients and develop expertise about customers from different sectors of activity, in a multi-national context, and think upstream to provide clients with new services and solutions and enable them to become long-term users and ambassadors. We are currently looking for someone passionate about customer success, in a hybrid human-digital approach, pursuit goals, and knowing what it means to go “above and beyond” to delight our broad community of clients and internal teams!

Responsibilities

Support our clients drawing the best value from the Vortal platform;
Manage and monitor a customer portfolio;
Analyze issues of clients and find the best ways to resolve them, following operating procedures;
Support the team in managing client accounts and services renewals;
Conduct market share analysis on clients;
Conduct surveys of opportunities with existing customers;
Strategic planning with partners and manufacturers;
Support in asset management activities (customersB2B, suppliers, BO) /reporting
Preparation of proposals/ calculation and monitoring of the main KPIs of the business;
Ensure the objectives of sales to new customers and management of the current customer portfolio;
Manage access profiles and usage of the platform.

Education & Experience

Degree in Management or equivalent;
Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in customer success management & client retention;
Previous experience in team management.

Skills & Knowledge

Native Portuguese speaker and knowledge of written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus;
Power BI is a plus;
Excellent communication skills: face-to-face, on the phone, and through writing;
Quick and efficient management of time;
Problem-solving and client-oriented skills;
Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills, Multi-tasking;

Responsibilities

See see the bigger picture with user scenarios, journeys, and flows;
Define user stories (write documentation) plan and conduct user research, user testing, A/B testing, always with usability and accessibility concerns;
Work close with UX/UI team, functional and dev team in an Agile methodology;
Create projects and interactive prototypes (Paper, Balsamiq, and Adobe XD).

Skills & Knowledge

Basic Knowledge of standards and best practices;
Basic knowledge of frontend (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript);
Basic Knowledge of patterns of IOS, Android, Web, and web responsive;
Be comfortable doing UX & UI design;
Basic Knowledge of UCD and Design thinking.

Experience

Up to 6 months in relevant areas.

Education:

Bachelor degree required;
Comfortable with English (written and spoken).

Actively listen to the new clients needs and share VORTAL’s eSourcing and eProcurement solutions and services and explain how they can add value to the the clients business;
Contribute to the success of VORTAL’s events and seize the event opportunities to build your network;
